Position Overview
We are seeking a highly competent Human Resources Administrator with strong
expertise in Zimbabwean Labour Laws, statutory compliance, and HR best
practices. The ideal candidate capable of driving compliant, ethical, and efficient HR
operations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and the
ability to support both strategic and operational HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
Labour Law & Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with the Labour Act (Chapter 28:01), NSSA
regulations, NEC requirements, and all relevant statutory obligations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in labour legislation and advise
management accordingly.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns within required timelines.
• Coordinate and support internal and external HR audits.
Employee Relations
• Handle disciplinary processes, hearings, and grievance procedures in line with
the Labour Act and company policies.
• Provide guidance to management and staff on employee relations matters.
• Promote a positive and compliant workplace culture.
HR Administration
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
• Oversee onboarding, induction, and exit processes.
• Manage leave administration, performance management documentation, and HR
reporting.
Recruitment & Talent Support
• Support recruitment processes including job postings, shortlisting, interviews,
and reference checks.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with internal policies and labour regulations.
Policy & Process Management
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure policies align with Zimbabwean labour legislation and organizational
objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or
related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years HR experience, with strong exposure to labour law and
compliance.
• IPMZ certification is an added advantage
• Demonstrated experience handling disciplinary processes, statutory submissions,
and HR audits.
• Strong understanding of NEC regulations across relevant sectors.
