An Engineering Company in Harare is seeking a Human Capital and Records Administrator to play a critical support role in the organization's human resources and records management functions, ensuring compliance with its HR Policies and Procedures and effective management of project records.
The Roles and Responsibilities of the incumbent shall include but not limited to the following:
1. Interpreting and communicating the firm's HR Policies and Procedures Manual to employees, while ensuring its ongoing review and update to comply with Zimbabwe's evolving human resource laws and regulations.
2. Collaborating with project design and supervisory teams to accurately update records, files, and databases, including project documents, employee data, and physical and digital documents.
3. Developing and implementing effective records management systems and procedures.
4. Managing employee relations, including disciplinary processes, investigating misconduct, addressing performance/behavioral issues, and collaborating with departmental heads to design training programs for employee development
5. Designing and implementing comprehensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, encompassing capacity-building, strategy development, and policy compliance, to foster an inclusive workplace culture promoting equal opportunities, and ensuring accessibility, respect, and gender equity for all employees.
Educational Background:
• A Degree in Human Resources Management, Records and Archives Management, Library Science, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources and Records management, or a related field.
• Exposure to electronic document management systems, records management software, and other related technologies.
• Proven track record of maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and providing excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Records management auditing or ISO 9001: 2015 systems are an added advantage
