SUMMARY
The position is responsible for assisting in the coordination of HSE internal systems, programs and standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the identification of HSE risks and mitigation measures.
• Assist in the development of HSE internal systems, programmes, and standards.
• Coordination of HSE training programmes and evaluation of effectiveness of trainings.
• Coordinate and participate in root cause determination as well as implementation of preventive measures.
• Participate in HSE Audits and inspections to ensure compliance with set standards.
• Fire prevention and protection to safeguard lives and property.
• Participate in HSE budgeting processes and HSE budget control.
• Carrying out industrial occupational hygiene services to create a safe working environment for the employees.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must have a degree in Safety, Health and Environment or equivalent.
• Professional qualifications OSHMAC, SAMRAC ISO 9001, IS014001, ISO45001
• At least three years experienced as an HSE Practitioner.
• Clean class 4 driver's license is a must.
Knowledge and Skills
• Lead Auditing and Internal Auditing.
• Risk assessment, and Training coordination
• Inspection and accident investigation
