Job Description

Are you passionate about Human Resources and looking to make a significant impact in an organization? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven HR Officer to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct monthly performance reviews group-wide to ensure every team member is aware of their deliverables and receives necessary feedback.
• Maintain and update employee files accurately.
• Engage with staff monthly to stay updated on people issues and communicate these issues.
• Conduct periodic staffing assessments to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Arrange and coordinate in-house training sessions through a calendar to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Administer leave days, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure statutory compliance with organizations such as NSSA, ZIMRA, NECs, and any other relevant bodies.
• Participate in recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee relations activities.
• Collaborate with management to implement HR strategies that align with company goals.
• Promote staff welfare by addressing their concerns, providing support, and ensuring a positive work-life balance.
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures effectively.
• Promote and maintain a positive company culture.

• Monthly staff engagement and resolution of people issues.
• Conducting periodic staffing assessments and reporting findings.
• Planning and execution of in-house training sessions.
• Accurate administration of leave days.
• Ensuring statutory compliance with relevant organizations.
• Effective recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee relations management.
• Implementation and management of Health and Safety procedures.
• Promotion of staff welfare and a positive working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Human Resources role.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Proficiency in HR softwares and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
