Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill in the above position that has arisen in the organization

Duties and Responsibilities

 Cleaning and sanitizing: Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
 Linen and laundry: Assist with the collection, sorting, and distribution of clean linen and towels. Help with washing, drying, folding, and ironing laundry as needed.
 Room preparation: Assist in preparing patient rooms, including making beds, restocking amenities, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
 Inventory management: Take stock of housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor. Assist in maintaining an organized supply room.
 Guest services: Respond to guest requests for additional amenities, towels, or other housekeeping-related services promptly and courteously.
 Safety and security: Adhere to safety and security procedures, including handling cleaning chemicals properly, following protocols for lost and found items, and reporting any maintenance or security concerns.
 Any other duties that may be prescribed by the supervisor
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
 Detail oriented
 Must possess effective time management skills
 Excellent communication skills.
 Basic Problem-solving skills.

 Must be studying a diploma in Tourism and hospitality management or Equivalent,
