Therefore, a position of housekeeping intern has arisen within our institution as we aim to always provide a clean, safe and friendly environment.
Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
Assist with the collection, sorting, and distribution of linen. Help with washing, drying, folding, and ironing laundry as needed.
Assist in preparing patient rooms including making beds, restocking amenities, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take stock of housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
Respond to patient requests for additional amenities and other housekeeping-related services promptly and courteously.
Adhere to safety and security procedures, including handling cleaning chemicals properly, following protocols for lost and found items, and reporting any maintenance or security concerns.
Any other duties that may be prescribed by the supervisor

Detail oriented
Must possess effective time management skills
Excellent communication skills.
Basic Problem-solving skills.
Must be studying towards a diploma in Tourism and hospitality management or Equivalent
