About
ZIMCARE TRUST is a Private Voluntary Organization (P.V.O) 57/82 with a non-profit making agenda which provides specialized education and cares for persons with intellectual challenges. Age groups that the organization caters for range between 6 and 17 years as well as young adults from 18years and above in which the former are taught basic literacy while the latter are trained on life skills. The organization has 14 schools/ centers nationwide namely in Bulawayo, Midlands, Harare, Chitungwiza, Masvingo, Manicaland and Mashonaland West
The organization seeks to engage house parents on a voluntary basis for Ratidzo Special school in Masvingo province. The main duties for the advertised vacant post are as follows:

Duties and Responsibilities

Main duties
• Responsible for the care and comfort of border; Reports all health matters to the nursing sister and the center head;
• Makes sure that dormitories and ablutions are kept clean and tidy; Mends torn clothing when necessary;
• Teaching some self-help help skills to the inmates e.g. proper use of toilets;
• Training inmates some housekeeping skills such making beds, Endeavour to train in mate’s basic hygiene such as brushing of teeth;
• Caring out other duties delegated by the center head.
