Ultrabank Management Services has been retained by one of its Clients, a major player in the retail sector, to recruit and select a suitable candidate for the above mentioned vacancy that has arisen within its operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaising with existing Hardware suppliers and negotiating contracts
Sourcing and building relations with new Hardware suppliers
Monitoring market changes, competitor prices and products
Analysing past sales patterns to anticipate trends in Hardware consumer buying pattern
Recommending clearance sales and varying delivery schedules to help control stock levels
Presenting new ranges to retail managers
Assisting merchandisers in planning store layouts to promote key lines
Person Specification:
The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:-
Relevant commercial degree or its equivalent.
Proven working experience as a Retail/Wholesale hardware buyer not less than 3 years.
Professional Qualification is a must.
