Etero Metal Ltd. (handy man Carpentry)
Etero Metal is a fully registered and licensed Auto parts and electronic components exporting company with branches throughout the world. It is located at Msasa, Harare, Zimbabwe. The company is solely fixated in exporting recycled material from electronic samples extracted from Automobiles and Electronic ICT devices. A vacancy has arisen at our main office for a Handy-Man with the following criteria required for the ideal person.
Job Title: Handyman (1 Position Vacant)
Location: Based in Harare (Msasa)
Duties and Responsibilities
Description
Read blueprints, and sketches to fully grasp requirements and execute
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed for bill of quantities
Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to required specifications
Build window frames, wooden furnishings, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
Build scaffolding and other construction structures
Qualifications and Experience
Age: 27-39

REQUIREMENTS:
A HND diploma or equivalent is an added advantage
Proven 2 or more years in a similar field is required
Traceable references
Good negotiation skills reliability, honesty dedication to work, eager to grow self-confidence, with industrial experience
A perfectionist and team leader with project management skills
A Driver license is an added advantage
