Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced incumbents for the position of Retail Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations of all Confide Group Group retail shops, including product availability, pricing, sales, shopkeepers, stock and resources management.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Maintaining proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and legal requirements
- Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage
- Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints
- Oversee the evaluation of potential proposals and business plans for senior management review and approval incorporating environmental assessment, competitive analysis, needs assessment including market studies, product design, cost and benefit analysis financial & operational impact & evaluation of risks opportunities
- Setting up and management of retail systems that provides end-to-end automation and improved efficiency.
- Managing finances, keeping records of expenditure and sales figures
- Supervise, train and assist Shopkeepers in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
- Monitor and submit weekly sales and expense reports for all retail shops.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Financial Management, or equivalent qualification
At least 5 years’ relevant experience with 2 years in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar.
Experience with international business and working within various diverse industries
