Job Description

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified, dynamic graduate to undergo a graduate learner-ship program in the stores department

Duties and Responsibilities

Examining shipment documents(ensure each shipment have got the right documents)
• Securing stock by implementing security systems and measures
• Compiles stock control records and information, such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
• Ensure all inventory and stock management systems is maintained accurately, within the agreed parameters and in a timely manner.
• Keeps over sales file in established sequence and releases the over sales as stock becomes available.
• Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.
• Complete all necessary stock takes. Investigation and reporting of shrinkage if any.
• assist with Warehouse and logistics policy formulation and implementation.
• Maintains and timorously updates IBTS and GRVS.
• assist to Maintain the warehouse and ensure the warehouse meets Nssa regulations in collaboration with the Production Manager.
• Maintain a process for returns. Manage a defined area in the warehouse for returns. This area will include out of dates, damaged and un-saleable goods
• Weekly and monthly warehouse reports.
• Filing of documents such as invoices, GRVs, DN, requisitions.
• Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and stock outs
• Ensure the loading and offloading of delivery trucks is done timeously and without any damage to goods(IBTS should be done a day before the order is supposed to be dispatched)
• Ensure supplied stocks meet demand liaising with the Operations and production team
• Ensuring timeous delivery and order tracking to ensure efficiency
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

A degree in supply chain management or similar program from a recognized University.
• Must be self-motivated, eager to learn and result-driven.
• Must be able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
• Must be a team player and able to fit in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of sage evolution will be an added advantage
