Job Description

A local leading Insurance Group of companies with International Alliance is seeking to fill the following vacancy:
Graduate Trainee — Pension Administrator (Data Management) Reporting to the Client Services Manager the main responsibilities of this role will include:

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Setting up and maintaining of accurate membership nd accounting records to facilitate the automatic calculations of benefits dependent of the data
2. Accumulating calculations and producing member benefit statements and SMS updates, in terms of scheme rules and in compliance to service level agreements
3. Preparing of data for Actuarial Valuations. Group Life Assurance Rote and Administration fees data
4. Understanding and applying of the various scheme rules in delivering service and various statutes governing pensions administration
5. Identifying and resolving of Compen system errors
6. Interpreting the rules and regulations applicable to the various Pension Funds to ensure compliance to legislation and correct application of fund rules in the accurate calculation and payment of benefits as well as producing accounts
7. Registering new eligible employees to the respective Pension Funds 8. Preparing quarterly/half-yearly and/or annual data
for Fund Interest Review 9. Sending members for medical examinations to determine the levels of Group Life Cover to be granted to them 10.Determining fund interest rotes for accumulations and the updating of members values thereof

Qualifications and Experience

• Class 2.1 or better in Insurance & Risk Management
• Traceable one-year experience in an Employee Benefit data management environment.
Industrial attachment is also token into consideration
• Knowledge of Pension Fund processes and Administration
• Knowledge of the Compen system
• Impeccable excel skills
• Be able to exercise maturity and work autonomously with minimum supervision
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
• Sound presentation and interpersonal skills
