SECURICO Security Services, Zimbabwe’s leading provider of integrated security solutions, invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated graduates for the position of Graduate Trainee Accountant.
The successful candidate will join a structured 12-month graduate development programme within the Finance Department, gaining hands-on exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and payroll support functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
* Support bank, supplier and general ledger reconciliations.
* Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis and expenditure tracking.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
* Assist with the processing of invoices, payments and petty cash management.
* Provide support during internal and external audits.
* Carry out any other duties assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications & Requirements
* A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related field, with a minimum of a 2.1 classification.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level of integrity, accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
