Job Description
A permanent opportunity for a graduate lawyer has arisen within an organization specializing in providing mainly corporate finance/advisory services with some company secretarial responsibilities. Please note that the organization is not a law firm.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide support in conducting research and drafting of legal documents as required.
• Ensure company secretarial documentation is up to date for clients of the business.
• Support in drafting, proof reading and editing of documents.
• Participate in relevant internal and external meetings and prepare supporting/background papers for the meeting.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate must hold a University degree in Law from a recognized university and ideally have some work experience. This role requires a person focused on the commercial aspects of law who can grasp commercial transactions and complexities, work independently, is resourceful and who is keen to learn and develop.
