Job Description
Tsapo Group of Companies is a fast-growing organisation in the motor industry and is seeking the services of a General Manager *2, i.e one for a unit which specialize in selling of vehicle parts and lubricants and the other unit specialize in vehicle tracking. The positions are based in Harare.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Formulates SBU objectives to ensure the business achieves its obligations.
2. Review and monitor the business to ensure that objectives are achieved.
3. Guides the business and create a culture of delivery and create the required leadership and direction into the future.
4. Creates the measures of business success to ensure that strategic objectives are attained or exceeded.
5. Formulate, develop and implement strategies to manage the external environment in a way that benefits the business.
6. Set performance targets and manage subordinate's performance.
7. Formulating of SBU budget and reviewing it accordingly.
8. Ensure full understanding of Finance policies and ensure compliance within the SBU as a whole.
9. Designs localized promotions to increase brand visibility, preference, growth and sales dominance.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Master's in business administration.
2. Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business Management/ Transport and Logistics Management.
3. Good A Level grades.
4. Good O Level grades.
5. A strong background in business management or sales and marketing.
6. Technical appreciation of tracking devices and proven experience in Motor vehicle tracking from reputable vehicle tracking organisations a distinct advantage.
7. Proven and traceable experience in motor vehicle spare parts.
8. At least 5 years' experience in senior management position.
9. A clean class 4 driver's licence with a valid defensive driving certification.
