JF Kapnek a registered PVO which has been operating in Zimbabwe since 1986 whose mission is to improve family health, reduce child mortality and create educational opportunities for the children of Zimbabwe through the implementation of scalable, sustainable programs is seeking to fill the vacancies below:
Gardener – reports to Admin & Procurement Officer – based in Harare
Duties and Responsibilities
Objectives for the position
Ensure the grounds are well maintained
• mow the grass,
• water the flowers, plants, trees, vegetable garden,
• replace and grow plants,
• Clean the ground around the house/office and the parking.
Ensure the premises are well maintained
• take care and clean the non-specialised maintenance of the buildings.
Support the receipt of goods and fuel register
• In conjunction with Admin team check supplies delivered agree with supplies ordered
• Help with the physical lifting of goods and equipment as requested
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
• Secondary education
• Two years’ experience at a similar level
• Good skills with managing plants and landscapes
