Job Description
Cassava Smartech is looking for a versatile and dynamic Full Stack Developer to join its Data Engineering team. The main purpose of the position is to build, manage and support custom applications developed by CADA. The Full Stack developer needs to be an all-rounder who can move quickly between Mobile, Web apps development as well as manage cloud servers and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed technical specifications as per user requirements for the creation of new or modified programs including the recommendation of logical designs, record / report layouts, and screen designs.
• Develop test plans for the solutions identified and implement automated testing and test the application features prior to deployment to production.
• Productize, iterate, ship and scale recommendation systems, that power user-facing products
• Conceptualize, design and prototype new uses of our data set to enrich user experience.
• Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments (e.g., distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU).
• Promote business sustainability by ensuring careful vendor selection and evaluation.
• Find innovative ways to improve current business processes.
• Adopt self-driven continuous learning processes to ensure ongoing skills development.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification, Skills and Experience
• A Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' experience in software development.
• Knowledge and experience in designing interfaces for web applications, mobile web app designs and cross device compatibility.
• Experience in JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Python, SQL, NoSQL.
• Extensive knowledge of Fintech and Telecoms development.
• Honesty & integrity is a must.
