Job Description
The Fuel Station Attendant is responsible for dispensing fuel, cashiering, collecting cash
payments from customers and making change, or charging purchases to customers' credit cards and providing customers with receipts. They clean, collect, and dispose outside trash. They order stock, and price and shelve incoming goods, provide assistance and customer service, as well as ensure that all paperwork for each day is in order.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Dispensing fuel
- Cashiering and collecting cash payments from customers and making change
- Charging purchases to customers' credit cards and providing customers with receipts
- Check air pressure in vehicle tires; and levels of fuel, motor oil, transmission, radiator, battery, and other fluids; and add air, oil, water, or other fluids, as required.
- Clean parking areas, offices, restrooms, and equipment, and remove trash.
- Clean windshields, and/or wash and wax vehicles
- Prepare daily reports of fuel, oil, and accessory sales.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 O' Level passes
- 2-3years experience in fuel dispensing
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Able to work with team or independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
