Job Description
We are looking for vibrant and dynamic individuals to fill the above position.
The incumbents will be based in Chitungwiza and will be responsible for the day to day
dispensing of fuel, receiving cash and general maintenance of the premise.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
The incumbents’ key responsibilities shall include but not limited to: -
• Welcoming customers in the forecourt.
• Filling customers’ vehicle tanks with petrol or diesel to the requested level.
• Maintaining customer records and follow up periodically with calls.
• Preparing daily records of fuel, oil, and accessory sales.
• Taking cash and providing change or preparing bank petrol charge slips.
• Checking customers’ tyre pressure, motor oil, transmission, radiator, battery, and other fluids as required.
• Cleaning windshields and or washing and waxing vehicles
• Checking fuel tank levels and recording them.
• Cleaning the parking areas, restrooms, equipment and removing trash.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Superior.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• A minimum of 5 ‘O’ Levels.
• At least one (1) year experience working as a fuel attendant.
Attributes
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Must have good people skills and be able to interact with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure.
