To competently coordinate and supervise Artisans in all auto electrical fleet maintenance activities by ensuring consistent service availability to user departments by inspecting, carrying out routine, preventative and scheduled/planned maintenance activities. Should also coordinate the disassembling and assembling of related equipment and accessories from technical manuals, written procedures and/or verbal instructions while enforcing adherence to all company safety and quality standards including SOPs.
• Assigning jobs and supervising subordinates on daily work activities as specified on the work orders.
• Coordinating the servicing of all electrical components on specified company fleet.
• Monitoring the installation of GPS on all tractors.
• Completing work order documentation after every performed tasks the same day of occurrence and submit to the Workshop Administrator.
• Expediting orders (vehicle components) with procurement department in liaison with Workshop Manager.
• Ensuring proper training of trainees in liaison with the training department
• Ensuring and enforcing all housekeeping and SHE issues within work areas all the times.
• Time Served Auto-Electrician with at least 10 years’ experience working with light vehicles, tractors, yellow machines and buses of which 3 years should have been on supervisory role.
• Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills with high knowledge in today’s computer controlled diagnostic systems, engine fuel and ignition.
• Ability to read and interpret user manuals correctly.
• A team player with good communication skills.
