Glenrise Investments (Pvt) Ltd seeks to recruit a dynamic and experienced professionals to join our team. The
successful candidates will play a pivotal role in providing support services to the Glenrise teams in various projects;
1. FLEET OFFICER
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Managing the day-to-day operations of the construction project's fleet, including vehicle scheduling,
maintenance, fuel management and driver coordination.
2. Developing and implementing fleet management strategies to optimize fleet utilization, minimizing
downtime, and reducing costs.
3. Coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules and the
highest standards of safety and compliance.
4. 5. Monitoring fuel consumption and implementing cost-saving measures, such as fuel efficiency programs.
Maintaining accurate records of fleet activities, including vehicle inspections, maintenance logs and
driver records.
6. Coordinating with project teams to forecast fleet needs and ensure the availability of vehicles and
equipment.
7. 8. Implementing and enforcing fleet policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely procurement
of vehicles, parts, and services.
Qualifications and Experience
1. 2. Bachelor's degree in Transport and Logistics or equivalent
5 years proven experience as a Fleet Officer or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or
transportation industry.
3. Professional certifications in transport and logistics is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
1. In-depth knowledge of fleet management principles, including vehicle maintenance, fuel management,
and driver coordination.
2. 3. 4. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with
diverse teams and stakeholders.
5. 6. Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.
Clean ClassValid driver's license and a good driving record.
