Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals at Cam and Motor Mine to fill the below vacancies that have arisen in the Engineering Department.
Fitter and Turner Class 2
The successful candidate will report to the Fitter and Turner Class land will among other duties be responsible for the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Performing shift work and carrying out maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Conducting effective root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Attends to break downs by repairing broken down equipment in the shortest time possible.
• Able to operate and show experience of working with lathes, milling machines and vertical borers.
• Writing reports on a daily basis including planning sheets, job cards and timesheets.
• Carrying out duties in compliance with and support of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management Systems
Qualifications and Experience
• Class 2 Journeyman Fitting and Turning
• 3-5 years post qualification experience
• Working knowledge of HSE systems a d standards.
• Prior working experience in a mining/ heavy industrial environment an added advantage
