The incumbent shall be responsible to support the SHE department through performing fire fighting, rescues and other emergencies as directed.
- Driving fire trucks and other emergency vehicles and operating fire fighting equipment.
- Generating and enforcing safety procedures that would safeguard lives, equipment and machinery.
- Putting out fires using recommended fire fighting equipment.
- Attending to emergencies that could involve life saving, property and public safety.
- Maintaining fire fighting equipment and related machinery.
- Performing fire fighting training like conducting drills and physical fitness within the organisation's operations.
- Preparing written reports on emergency incidents.
- Providing public education on general fire safety.
- Certified Fire Fighter from a recognised institution with training in emergency medical services.
- At least 3 years experience in the field.
- Ability to generate concise reports.
- Physicaly fit.
- A clean class 2 driver’s license.
