Job Description
An established distribution company i is looking to appoint a competent Finance Manager to join their team. The position will involve the formulation of annual budgets and targets, and control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems. Honest and trustworthy candidates are invited to apply. Annual Financial Statements; Consolidation and Separate AFS for different legal entities within the Group. Accurate reporting according to IFRS. Completed within 1 month of Fiscal year-end. Management of External Auditors. Regulatory Aspects – Income Tax, VAT, PAYE. Representative of the Group Company, e.g. Public Officer. Returns for Group companies submitted on time. Returns accurate in terms of applicable different geographical legislation. Relationship building with relevant Authorities. Relationship with external experts where required, e.g. Auditing firm, consultants, investors etc. Ensuring compliance with all applicable country laws and regulations for operating subsidiaries.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Institutions – Day to Day Banking. Effective working mechanism with Banks to manage daily flow of cash payments and receipts in a structured and controlled way for different entities, including on-line banking set-up and access authorisation levels per employee. Authorisation controls. Sharing of information as and when required, e.g. Management Accounts, Covenants confirmation, etc. Manage relationship with Financial Institutions. Setting-up and maintaining funding mechanisms for Capex or Working Capital projects. Sharing of information as and when required, e.g. Management Accounts, Covenants confirmation, etc. Manage relationship with Financial Institutions. Internal Control Framework. Cash Flow Management. Financial Forecasts. Maintain relationships with external insurance brokers. Mergers & Acquisitions. Financial Accounting. HR Monthly Payroll. Stakeholder Management. People Management. IT Security. Stock Management.
Qualifications and Experience
Any accounting Degree / CA/ ACCA/ CIMA/ MBA
