Job Description

•Suitably, qualified, experienced and motivated external candidates are invited to apply for the following vacant post that has arisen:

Duties and Responsibilities

Raising payment requisitions
• Daily update of cashbooks
• Assisting monthly management accounts
• Preparation of VAT Schedules
• Timely submissions of ZIMRA Obligations
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
• Supervision of monthly inventory, reconciliations and general ledger
• Reviewing Trial Balance, payroll processing and preparation of company budgets
• Knowledge of general Safety, Health and Environment standards an added advantage

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Driver’s license required
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Some experience in waste management industry an added advantage
• Knowledge of pastel a must
• IT competent with Outlook, Word and Excel a must
• Familiar with accounting regulations and tax laws, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
