Job Description
Location – Geluk Farm (21km from Gweru)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the position of Electrician. The position will report to the Farm Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Attend to electrical break downs timeously
• Planned maintenance that is ensuring all equipment is checked regularly and working well
• Ensuring critical electrical spares are readily available or in stock
• Assist other departments technically when need arises
• Ensuring all company electrical tools/ test meters allocated to him/her are well kept
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and traits
• Class 2 in Electrical Power Engineering
• At least five years’ experience as Class 2 electrician
• Problem solving and decision-making
• Hard working and highly initiative
• Farm experience would be an added advantage
