Job Description
Location – Geluk Farm (21km from Gweru)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the position of Driver. The position will report to the Farm Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Preparation of land for ploughing, harvesting
• Transporting farm harvest to various areas on the farm
• Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of tractors and other farm implements
• Operating farm vehicles safely and efficiently
• Reporting any faults or concerns to the farm manager and other relevant stake holders
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and traits
• Clean Class 2 driver’s licence
• At least five years’ experience as Class 2 electrician
• Knowledge and experience in operating of farm implements
• Problem solving and decision-making
• Hard working and highly initiative
• Farm experience would be an added advantage
