Job Description

The purpose of this job is to ensure that Cottco’s buildings and their services meet the set standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages all company properties .
• Inspects buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Maintains all staff facilities.
• Coordinates and Supervises all repairs ,maintanance and construction projects.
• Oversees and agrees contracts and providers for services such as cleaning and other related services.
• ensures that basic facilities, such as water and electricty are well-maintained
• Manages budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Ensures that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
• Plans and coordinates all installations and refurbishments.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Rural and Urban Planning or Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Real Estate Management or Survey or Architecture
• Proven experience as facilities manager or equivalent.
• Proven track record in dealing with statutory bodies like NSSA, EMA, ZERA and other relevant regulatory authorities.
• Facilities Management experience will be an added advantage
• Three years’ work experience in similar position.
