Duties and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in planning and implementing weekly sales activities
Liaise with production and sales teams on product lead times and customer requirements
Compile and update product price lists
• Conduct telesales, sales calls and attend to walk-in customers Prepare quotations and deliver product presentations Monitor customer accounts and follow up on payments
Process customer sales transactions
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Maintain an accurate and updated customer database

Qualifications and Experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A degree strictly in Irrigation and Water or Agricultural Engineering
• Proven experience in external sales or business development
Strong negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities Good presentation and report writing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales systems
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets
Clean Class 4 Driver's Licence
Willingness to travel frequently
