Responsible for servicing external customers as allocated, and acquire new business. The position requires incumbent to have good product knowledge, a positive attitude and great customer care.
Handling of allocated customers, with a bias towards Mining, Industrial, and Heavy-Duty Segments.
Lead generation
Proactively follow up on marketing generated leads through calls, emails and social selling.
Order processing when necessary (invoicing etc.);
Basic stock management;
Sales analysis
Customer product knowledge, customer service, and sales training
Conducting market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and competitive insights
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to answer calls expeditiously
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to build good rapport with customers
Proactive telephone selling
Computer literacy
Fluency in written and spoken English
Basic product technical knowledge to handle routine enquiries
Basic stock knowledge management
Ability to work within and with the sales team
Enthusiasm and positive attitude towards work
Ability to set up and run an efficient filing system.
* At least five ‘O’ Level passes including English and Mathematics.
A degree/diploma in marketing, or advanced progress towards attaining one.
Experience in sales, or managing the front-line office.
Computer literacy
Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence
Fluency in written and spoken English
Basic industry knowledge.
Basic stock knowledge management
