Job Description

Insurance Council of Zimbabwe, an association of short-term insurers and reinsurers, seeks to recruit a suitable candidate for the above-mentioned position that has arisen. Reporting to the Executive Officer, the successful incumbent will be responsible for executing the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities


• Provides high level strategic and administrative support to the Executive Officer.
• Planning and coordinating schedule of activities.
• Meetings coordination and minute taking.
• Preparation of reports and correspondence.
• Coordinate and monitor Council's special projects in liaison with the Executive Officer.
• Providing needed background information to the Executive Officer through liaising with Council management, staff, and various stakehoIders.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate should have:
A relevant business degree.
Ability to work independently and with professional discretion.
Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
At least five (5) years relevant experience. Closing date for applications is 17 July 2020.
