About Victoria Falls Offshore Centre Limited (“VFOC”)
VFOC has been tasked to develop and implement an International Financial Centre in Victoria
Falls. An international financial centre allows Zimbabwe to attract investment into Zimbabwe by offering incentives and regulations that are different from the mainland. This model has achieved great success in many countries including Kazakhstan, Qatar, and Dubai.

Position Overview
The Executive Assistant’s role is to plan, organize, and support the administrative and
operational activities in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). They will also be instrumental in writing successful grant applications to harness the financial resources for
VFOC.
Principal Duties
Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the CEO to
facilitate intervention and efficient decision making.
Compile and condense monthly and quarterly activity reports submitted to the Office
of the CEO for high level decision making.
Maintain a database of external engagements with relevant stakeholders.
Conducts relevant research, prepares background papers, talking points, speeches,
correspondence, reports, and official statements for the CEO.
Manage communication between the executives and key stakeholders by reviewing
the necessary correspondence for approval.
Collaborate with relevant personnel to ensure seamless implementation of the CEO’s
programme of activities, meetings, as well as official high-level travel schedules.
Arrange and coordinate CEO’s engagements and executive meetings, record minutes
and tracks action points.
Manage the CEO’s competing official and unofficial demands.
Develop a database of possible grant providers
Submit grant applications
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies, Management, Business Studies or other
related fields.
Demonstrable experience in high-level information management and task
coordination.
Experience in developing and submitting grant proposals
Experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders is required
