1. PHYSICAL PLANNING, WORKS AND ESTATES
1.1 Estates Officer (1 Post)
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning, development, and maintenance of university estates, ensuring all properties are in excellent condition.
• Monitor and manage the usage of university properties, including buildings, grounds, and other facilities.
• Oversee estate maintenance tasks, including repairs, renovations, and general upkeep.
• Conduct regular inspections of university properties to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
• Develop and maintain accurate estate records, and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of estate management budgets, and work schedules.
• Assist in generating specifications for estate maintenance projects. • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
• 5 Ordinary Level passes, including Science, Mathematics and English Language.
• A Degree in Estate Management, Property Management or a related field. A higher qualification will be an added advantage
• At least 2 years post-qualification experience in estate management or a related field.
• Previous experience in a higher education environment will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of property maintenance, safety, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
