We are seeking to recruit an experienced and qualified ESG Manager to join our Team based in Harare, reporting to the Head of Technical Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and implement ESG strategies, policies and frameworks for the Group.
• Advise Management on ESG issues and best practice.
• Identify and evaluate risks in the ESG space for the Group.
• Conduct training across the Group Mines to drive the ESG strategy and embed this into our Operations.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement with respect to ESG issues.
• Establish and oversee internal reporting framework on ESG and oversee performance in this area.
Qualifications and Experience
About You
• Working knowledge of sustainability principles and ESG frameworks.
• Proficiency in conducting ESG assessments, data analysis and project management.
• Ability to develop and implement ESG strategy and policies suited to organisational objectives.
• At least 5 years' experience in ESG preferably within Mining.
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business or related field.
