Job Description

Environmental Monitor

Post Reports to: Environmental Technician.

Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES
> Monitoring the use of natural resources.
> Issuing of tickets to illegal sand extractors, tree fellers, gold panners, brick molders and stream bank cultivators.
> Report land disputes and land degradation issues > Attend agricultural shows/ field days.
> Request for settlement permits and other permits where necessary.
> Any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS
> 5 0' Levels
> Certificate in Agriculture/ Natural Resources/ Tourism/ Social Science or equivalent, a relevant Diploma will be an added advantage.
> The person must have at least one year experience in Natural Resources and Agriculture management or similar environment.
> Be in possession of a class 3 or class 4 driver's license
> Age 22 and above
