Environmental Health Technician

Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and task . oriented individuals to fill the above position that has arisen within the City's Health Services Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be reporting to the Environmental Health Officer and will be responsible for:

Duties and Responsibilities

 Control of public health nuisances
 Diseases Investigation
 Community Health Education
 Control of hawkers and vendors
 Dog and Animal Control
 Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Experience

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
 Diploma in Environmental Health
 5 0' Levels including English Language and Mathematics
 One year practical experience as an EHT is an added advantage.
