Job Description


BACKGROUND
Mwenezi Development Training Centre [MDTC] is a community based organization operating in Mwenezi, Chiredzi and Beitbridge districts. MDTC implements diversified community development and humanitarian programmes which are funded by various funding partners. The organization has the following vacancies to implement a WFP funded programme (Lean Season Assistance) in Chiredzi and Mwenezi districts from October 2020 to April 2021. Therefore women and men with potential to be high performers are encouraged to apply for these challenging and exciting positions.

Reporting To : The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Duties and Responsibilities


Responsibilities
• Prepare registration material before going for each registration.
• Attend and participate in all registrations timously
• Rank all households in allocated village during registrations
• Register all legible households accurately on registration form and/or in SCOPE
• Validate and crosscheck all recorded data before submission of registration data to M&E Officer
• Transfer any assigned registration information as requested
• Submit registration information summaries of villages registered after each day’s registration
• Clean SCOPE data to ensure correct and quality data capturing.
• Report incidences related to LSA to the Field Supervisor within 24 hours of their occurrence.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Expected Results
• Well organized, complete and accurate records and reports and neat hand writing.
• Self-supervising, cooperating team worker.
• Ability to meet deadlines for both reporting and operations

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and experience
• Minimum good 5 ‘O’ level passes including English.
• Some experience in similar exercises will increase scope of eligibility.
