Job Description
SECURICO is one of the largest installers of electronic security systems in Zimbabwe. It offers comprehensive and integrated technology-based security solutions to help clients mitigate risk and protect their assets. The company offers intelligent and seamless technology-based solutions including electronic access control systems, video surveillance (CCTV), fire alarms, alarm monitoring, emergency communications, solar systems installations, and other smart tech innovative solutions.
The company is looking for a highly experienced and proficient electronic security systems technician to join our Technical Division. The person shall play a central and high-level technical role in the installation of latest high-tech alarms, CCTVs, Access Control systems, electric fences and gates.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Technical
o Installation and commissioning of alarms, CCTVs, Access Controls, Electric Fences, electric gates.
o Assists the Head of Division to perform site surveys and estimate installation costs for security projects.
o Performing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
Supervision & Training
Supervises assistant technicians and provides technical support, guidance, training, expertise and leadership to Assistant Technicians.
Discipline
Maintain high levels of discipline and accountability in technicians.
Customer Service
Follows up on customer queries, complaints and institute measures for speedy resolution of queries and complaints. Maintains customer relations to achieve high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
o Diploma or Degree in Electronics or ICT
o Possession of Installer Certificates for security systems an advantage
o Computer Literate, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Earth, relevant technical software systems
o Valid Class 4 driver’s licence
