An exciting opportunity for an Electronic Banking Specialist has arisen within our Digital Banking Department. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance, technical support, troubleshooting, and analysis for digital banking channels.
Digital channel uptime and performance.
• Monitor digital channel performance and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot technical problems related to mobile banking, payment gateway, and card management systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT teams for system upgrades.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Provide technical support
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to mobile banking, card transactions and all digital channels.
• Assist with password resets, account enquiries, and transaction disputes.
• Provide training and support to staff on new features and functionalities.
• Document common queries and resolutions to technical challenges.
• Configuration of POS terminals
• Plan and coordinate POS terminal deployment.
• Install and update POS terminal software and applications.
• Configure POS terminals with necessary settings and parameters.
• Provide technical support to POS terminal users.
• Monitor POS terminal performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage digital channel upgrades and integrations
• Lead and participate in projects to integrate the core banking system
• Project documentation to deployment of all digital project.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Test and validate new digital channels before deployment.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for new digital channels.
• Data Analysis
• Translate complex data into simple, understandable language
• Extract transactions from database for analysis and investigations.
• Generate reports for electronic transactions such as card and mobile volumes
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Relevant certification is an added advantage
1 year post qualification experience in POS Configurations and Support
