Job Description
Applications are invited for the ELECTRICIAN position that has arisen within Baker’s INN
Manufacturing – Northern Region, Harare.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to take full charge of all key responsibilities that include
but are not limited to the following: -
• Scheduled maintenance repairs.
• Electrical equipment troubleshooting.
• Interpreting electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Doing shift work.
• Carry out checklists.
• Electrical installations in the factory or Bakery depots.
• Fill in job cards and log jobs done on CMMS.
• Housekeeping.
• Involved in continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure plant machinery meets NSSA safety requirements all the time.
• Assist mechanical colleagues whenever necessary
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate should be in possession of the following minimum qualifications: -
• Apprenticeship trained.
• Membership to a professional body is an added advantage.
• At least two years in a food industry.
• Class 1 journeyman card.
• Computer literacy.
• A clean class 4 driver’s license will be an added advantage.
• National certificate in electrical/instruments and control engineering/Diploma.
• Conversant with Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs and drives.
