Job Description
Shall report directly to the Maintenance Engineer to whom you shall be accountable for your performance and daily activities.
The role is based in Bulawayo
Duties and Responsibilities
The electrician will be responsible for;
1.Machinery electrical installations in preparation for commissioning.
2. Properly do factory wiring in accordance with approved standards.
3. Laying of cables and proper terminations, including M.V terminations.
4. Performing electrical maintenance works including attending breakdowns and carrying out
preventive maintenance.
5. Drawing up bill of materials for various electrical works including new installations and wiring.
Qualifications and Experience
1. National Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering.
2. Class one trade tested Electrician with journeyman card.
3. Apprentice trained will be an added advantage.
4. At least three years post qualification experience and five years for non-apprentice trained.
5. 11kV switching certificate.
6. Proven certificate in cable terminations will be an added advantage.
7. Knowledge of Factories and Works Act and related wiring regulations.
