3 (Three) x Drivers: Family AIDS Caring Trust (FACT)
Deadlines: 6 December 2021

Location: Gokwe North, Harare and Mutare
Reporting to: Finance and Administration Department

About
FACT Zimbabwe is a Christian Organisation that was established in 1987 as the first AIDS serving Organisation in Zimbabwe. Based in Mutare, Manicaland Province, FACT Zimbabwe is implementing various projects across Zimbabwe which aim to realize Healthy Communities for A Healthy Nation.

Job summary
The Driver is responsible for providing safe driving services to the organisation, carrying staff to and from different work locations and ensuring that program vehicles are maintained in good working condition. The Program Driver shall provide a variety of transportation support to the project.

The Driver is responsible for providing reliable and safe driving services and administrative services in, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol whilst ensuring compliance with driving rules and regulations; The Driver should always demonstrate a client-oriented approach, high sense of responsibility, courtesy, tact and the ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds; Ensuring that all vehicle log-books are updated all the time.

Qualifications and Experience

The Driver must have: 5 O Levels Including English language; Clean class 4 driver’s license; Defensive driving certificate a must; At least 3 years of work experience as a driver in an NGO, or donor funded organization with a safe driving record; Must have basic skills in vehicle maintenance; knowledge of logistics; Must have good customer service skills.
