We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Driver/Messenger to join our team in Harare. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of individuals and equipment while upholding our commitment to excellence in service.
Duties and Responsibilities
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely transport staff, documents, and equipment to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of the assigned vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collect and deliver important documents and packages as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to maintain a high standard of safety.
- Maintain an accurate log of pickups, deliveries, and any incidents that may occur during the trip.
Qualifications and Experience
**Requirements:**
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
- Defensive Driving Certificate is an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a driver or messenger, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of local traffic regulations and routes within Harare.
- Excellent time management skills and a proactive attitude towards work.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility.
