Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified ad experienced persons for the position that has arisen at our Msasa branch
Reporting to the Sales and Distribution Manager the successful incumbent should have the following attributes
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating of vehicle movement and ensuring availability of units and efficient delivery within agreed lead times
Responsible for coordinating the pre-delivery inspection exercise on all units to ensure timely delivery of units to customers
Receiving of carriers and ensuring that all received units are thoroughly inspected for damage in transit prior delivery and booking them into bond
Liaising with transporters ,Our manufacturer on all unit damages to ensure timely compensation and unit repairs within 48hours of vehicle arrival in the country
Carrying out monthly stock counts ensure that physical stock balances with the book value using first in first out crieteria
Responsible for coordinating and ensuring proper security arrangements for all units in bond
Order for pre delivery inspection using(SAP) and unit preparation to workshop to endure units meet customer expectation before delivery within 48hrs of vehicle arrival in the country
Bonded warehouse management ensuring proper documentation and record keeping by updating the bond register and ensuring the proper filling and documents
Able to develop positive productive and effective relationships with colleagues
Preparation and submission of Rundown
Qualifications and Experience
HND in Purchasing and Supply Management/Diploma in Shipping and logistics or equivalent
At least 2 years experience and proven ability within the field of customs
Experience of delivery of excellent customer service
Good interpersonal and social skills to communicate at all levels
Good computer skills and knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
Clean class 4 drivers licence
