Job Description
Our Sister company Health mode Pharmacy is seeking a Dispensary Assistant to support our pharmacy team with dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist with dispensary duties, processing prescriptions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the pharmacist with dispensing medications, including labeling and packaging prescriptions.
2. Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is complete and up-to-date.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, medication dispensing, and inventory management.
4. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
6. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient care and safety.
Qualifications and Experience
1.Certificate or diploma in pharmacy assistance
2.Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
5. Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software.
