Job Description
Reporting to the Director-General, the Director Statistical Services will be responsible for managing and coordinating data collection for all censuses and surveys including business development for the Agency.

1.Development of Strategic Plan, Annual Work Plan and budgeting for the Division.
2.Planning, coordination and management of data collection in al Provinces.
3.Providing technical and administrative oversight of the division including enforcement of implementation of relevant acts, procedure sand regulations.
4.Review of various statistical reports.
5.Publicity and community engagement prior,during and after various censuses and surveys.
6.Setup income generating projects for the Agency.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
First degree in Statistics or equivalent with a quantitative bias from a reputable University
Master’s degree in Statistics or equivalent with a quantitative bias.
At least five(5)years relevant post qualification experience of which two(2) should have been at managerial level.
Person Specification
Knowledge of international best practices in censuses and surveys. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive entrepreneurship skills and ability to write Business Proposals
