Director: Wildlife and Environment Zimbabwe (WEZ)

Applications are invited for the post of Director, Wildlife and Environment, Zimbabwe (WEZ).

Duties and Responsibilities

Job description
The successful applicant will be required to: Be the chief administrator of WEZ, in consultation with and reporting back to the WEZ National Council; Promote and develop the profile of WEZ; Develop and implement a fundraising strategy; Assist WEZ member branches with their programs; Implement a membership drive for the organization; Maintain WEZ accounts as well as ensuring the member branches accounts conform to standard accounting and reporting procedures; Be the secretariat for the WEZ National Council.

Salary
The director's salary shall initially be negotiated as a proportion of the gross sum of funds that he/she would raise for WEZ. When the accumulated funds reach an agreed basic capital reserve, the WEZ Council shall review the Director's emoluments with the objective of paying the director a fixed salary, which can be reviewed at agreed intervals.
