Job Description
Background
The Gonarezhou Conservation Trust (GCT), a partnership between the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZPWMA) and the Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) is inviting applications for the above-mentioned position. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and curating social media content, tracking and analysing the performance of online content and ensuring
that all digital marketing material is in line with GCT brand identity; details listed below.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Support and execute the GCT's Public Relations and Digital Marketing objectives.
• Create and curate engaging social media content.
• Communicate and build relationships with current or prospective clients and stakeholders.
• Effectively and regularly utilise company social media channels.
• Create and distribute press releases when required.
• Build and update media lists and databases when required.
• Schedule, coordinate and attend various events.
• Perform research and digital marketing analysis activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications. Duties and Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in BA or Bachelor of Social Science degree preferable.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• Curious and creative mind.
• Enjoy working with and being with people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for storytelling and writing. Fluency in Shangaan will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to live in the GNP.
