We seek a Diet Aide who will assist in the preparation and delivery of meals that meet the nutritional and medical needs of patients.
Assist in preparing and portioning meals according to prescribed diets.
Deliver and collect patient meal trays in a timely manner.
Ensure patient diets match medical or nutritionist orders.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and serving areas.
Record food intake and report any patient feeding challenges to the nutritionist or nurse.
Assist in managing food supplies and inventory.
Adhere to infection control and food safety standards at all times.
Certificate in Nutrition, Food Service, or related field.
At least 1–2 years’ experience in a healthcare or institutional kitchen setting.
Knowledge of dietary modifications for common medical conditions (e.g., diabetic, low-salt, soft diets).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
High standards of hygiene and attention to detail
