Job Description

Trans Smart Trust is seeking a qualified Development Operations Officer to join our team and oversee the effective implementation of organizations operations, Programmes, monitoring and evaluation of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the organization programmes, collecting and analysing data, and providing regular progress reports to management and donors.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing organisational strategic plans.
• Reporting and accounting for programs.
• Manage project affairs for the organization.
• Develop project ideas.
• Resource mobilisation.
• Research and proposal Writing
• Collaborate with the rest of the team members to collect data, research ideas for information dissemination tools.
• Facilitate partnership engagements.
• Develop organisational IEC material
• Writing organisational reports.
• Improve organisational visibility.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team members to collect data, research ideas for information dissemination tools.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Health, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the NGO/development sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing programmes and projects.
• Strong data management and analytical skills, including proficiency in data collection, analysis, and Project Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of the local context and experience working with transgender and intersex communities in Zimbabwe would be an added advantage.
